The latest version of FreePBX is 2.5.0rc3. More info and a download link are here: http://freepbx.org/download-freepbx. It supports Asterisk 1.2 - 1.6. If it doesn’t work with your installation of Asterisk, you may want to try installing the latest version of Asterisk 1.4, which can be downloaded here: http://www.asterisk.org/downloads.
