We are using FreePBX, and we have one incoming number configured. The number is working correctly, and calls are being forwarded to another server where an IVR is configured via SIP trunk connectivity.
However, we are facing an issue where DTMF is not working properly.

What is the DTMF mode for the incoming and outgoing side?
Please confirm that the incoming side is not coming through a “GSM” gateway (in general the mobile phone air interface only supports outbound DTMF, and then only when out of band signalling is used)?
What appears in the full log when you turn DTMF loggin on?
Go to the CLI and type “logger set level DTMF on” and paste the logs while you reproduce the issue.
