Voicemail timestamp off by 5 hours

PBX Firmware: 12.7.5-1807-1.sng7
PBX Service Pack: 1.0.0.0

The CEO called to let me know that his voicemail time is off by 5 hours. We’re in NY and from what I can tell from System Admin that the server time is correct. The time on the endpoint is also correct and in sync with the FreePBX server time.

I made a test call and left a voicemail in my own inbox and it was also 5 hours ahead of the current time.

Does voicemail get it’s delivery time from somewhere else or know why this would be off by such a drastic amount?

Did you reboot after setting the time zone?

To add, what do you see under Admin > System Admin > Time Zone?
Is it set to America New_York? and if it displaying the correct time?

It had been functioning properly since May and I hadn’t made any changes to the system. Strange.

I checked in there last night and it just said UTC. I changed it to America New_York and rebooted. Tested again with a voicemail message and all is well.

Strange behavior for not have made any changes to the system.
