Hello, our FreePBX stopped sending voicemail notifications. Can someone help me troubleshoot this?
Need further informations.
Do you use internal mail server or another account as google…Etc?
For internal server, you can test with console.
mail to… and test if you receive your email.
For any extenal account, check your credential
Have you reviewed the logs? I believe it’s /var/log/maillog.
Are you using Mailgun? If yes, are mails to the email address being suppressed?
Gmail? Do you have it correctly set up? Cant send emails to gmail - #3 by dvsatech
I had the exact same issue. It was working fine for years and then it just stopped working. I was using GMAIL option but it doesn’t have all the settings in FreePBX, I followed another post suggestion and manually edited a few files and got everything working again. GMAIL requires APP Passwords now. Check the forum for other posts by me.
Yes, Gmail requires a password for every app. But it’s been necessary for a long time.
For my part, I’m using gmail and I never added any settings on this account side FreePBX. I just set a new password, that’s it.
