Has anyone figured out a way to get a call notifying a user of a pending voicemail and allow them to retrieve it or have the Voicemail forwarded to a cell phone.
There is a paid commercial module that does this:

For a quick fix, try IFTTT. When a new message arrives from the PBX, you can have it notify you by push, phone call or SMS. In my experience the SMS is often delayed, once by half an hour, but push and phone have always been immediate. If you are not using IFTTT notifications for anything else, you could set them to override don-not-disturb. See https://ifttt.com/gmail for examples.
