When a voicemail is on an extension the extension will give a beep-beep before the dial tone, but the tone is so short it has finished playing by the time the handset gets to the ear. Can I instead of 5 s change it to 20 s
What type of phone? Unless it’s a DAHDI extension, the dial tone you hear is not generated by the PBX, so this is a phone config question.
When a voicemail is on an extension the extension will give a beep-beep before the dial tone, but the tone is so short it has finished playing by the time the handset gets to the ear. I dont wan the beep sound how could i removed it?
its analogy phone teledex diamond+ 10
and it goes to an ONT/ONU gpon
The configuration file for the ONT likely has an MWI setting. Turning that off should eliminate the stutter dial tone.
It also may have a setting for stutter dial tone that describes the cadence, frequencies, etc. Try setting that the same as regular dial tone.
