Voice mail disconnected in every 30 seconds


We have installed FreePBX version. We configured IVR. We setup voice mail on o(zero) digit press action.After click on zero call landed on voice mail prompt as well. But after 30 seconds calls automatically disconnected.

Can you suggest on same.

Check your logs. Could be network/firewall related. Could be endpoint related. I typed “30 Seconds” in the forum search and returned a lot of starting points you could look into.


Check under Voicemail Admin > Settings > Limits > Max Message Length, might be someone set it to 30 seconds…

My default install had a ‘short’ message length which I needed to change.


Thanks for reply. But we already applied this parameter value to 600 seconds.
