I use Virtual Extensions so that I can do a trick with forwarding. Since you can’t enable call forwarding on a queue, I have the inbound route hit this virtual extension which forwards to the queue, and if someone logs into the UCP, they can turn on forwarding so that it forwards to an external number before it hits the queue. However, for some reason in FreePBX 17, their Descriptions are being ignored and the extensions are all “1”, even though there is no extension 1.
I’m looking for any suggestions on how to resolve this! I don’t want to make a chan_pjsip extension that doesn’t actually get used.
