I recently restarted my server for activation that was needed that I hadn’t done. My SIP phone was registered at the time. I restarted the server and my phones are now going between “Registering” and “Register failed”.
Here are my settings:
Display Name: Same as listed Display Name in FPBX
Authorization Name: Same as extension
Username: Same as extension
Password: Same as secret given by FPBX
SIP Server: Same as server IP
Outbound Proxy Server: Same as server IP
I just started this system yesterday (I forgot to mention it runs FPBX 16.0.33) and this has been happening since it was deployed.
I now have 1 other SIP phone working. My SIP phones are:
Yealink T53W (the one that isn’t working)
and Cisco SPA525G2 (the working one)
I’ll continue to update you guys on my situation with the Yealink.
I reset my secret and I’m trying to register a phone’s built in softphone but it’s timing out the registration. I will test the IP phones and see if they work with that new secret, and I will update you.
I am unable to register other people’s SIP phones for them, so this is getting more out of hand. The information is correct and the extension exists. It keeps timing out. What do I do?
My Cisco no longer works. It started when I started a free trial with SIPStation. I have every possible transport on with different ports, and none of them work. UDP, TCP and TLS. None work. I need some help here.
It works, but calls automatically hang up right after it is picked up. (Only for 2 extensions, all other extensions work. Problem is the directory which the extensions route to is broken. (it’s not anymore))
