When I try and play a message UCP, I get the “There was an error. See the console log for more details.”
Where is this log located and what might be causing the error message?

Press F12 on your browser and go to the console in your browser. It is logged in there. There are a few tickets out there about this error.

Run asterisk-version-switch and reselect your asterisk version

Thanks for the tip.
FYI
I selected “Asterisk 15” however upon trying to make a call, saw this in CLI “No RTP engine was found. Do you have one loaded?”. Ran asterisk-version-switch and install asterisk version 14. Things seem to be working.
