To avoid the specific robocalls, I would like to set up my newly TrueCNAM account in FreePBX but I can’t find the real setup except for the info on this website (is it really so difficult ??) or has it been improved since then ? I’m running the current version of FreePBX. (TrueCNAM should not block numbers from outside the US btw)
It’s under Admin->Caller ID Superfecta. You have to edit a scheme and config truecnam, then enable that scheme for the inbound route(s).
A better solution for robocalls is the allowlist module.
After some “investigation” I was able to implement the “allowlist” as suggested. Added the phone-numbers and opened up the inbound rule.
