Time Conditions Time Groups

HI

We have implemented Time Conditions and Time Groups, however right not the time conditions are not matching. The below does not seem to work .We are not getting the correct timed conditions. Any assistance with this will be much appreciated.

We have:

What does not work, the time isn’t correct?

Also, I’m afraid you are using time groups wrong, i suspect there’s a loop with your time conditions - announcements. What are you trying to accomplish?

Thanks for your response @PitzKey.

After Hours run from 17:00 until 22:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 until 22:00 Saturday and Sunday with different announcements
Open Hours run from 08:00 until 17:00 Monday to Friday
Closed Hours run from 22:00 until 08:00 Monday To Sunday.

The Open Hours don’t kick in. the Closed hours seem to in effect and not After Hours.

You did not say how callers are reaching this Time Conditions, in your screenshot i only see one TC being in use by 7 destinations.

Assuming you are pointing your inbound route to a time condition, i would setup the following:

Time Group 1 - Open Hours
08:00 - 17:00 Mon - Fri.

Time Group 2 - After Hours / Closed
17:00 - 22:00 Mon - Fri.
08:00 - 22:00 Sat - Sun.

Time Condition 1 - Open
Use TG-1
If matches > Announcements > Open Hours
Non-matches > Time Conditions > Time Condition 2 - After Hours / Closed

Time Condition 2 - After Hours / Closed
Use TG-2
If matches > Announcements > After hours
Non-matches > Announcements > Closed

Now point your inbound route to Time Condition 1 - Open and if it’s open hours it will go to the open hours announcement, if it’s not open hours it will go to Time Condition 2 - After Hours / Closed which will do as you see in the TC.

Hope that works for you.

Thanks @PitzKey

Yeah setup like that now, still does not work.

Do I have to reboot the server or send fwconsole restart or something?

The PBX does need to be rebooted after changing the time zone.

@lgaetz, thanks, I understood that, but pertaining to the issue. it is still not working. Should I not reboot I am out of ideas.

Is your system in a different timezone from Africa/Johannesburg?

@PitzKey

same time zone

Then why not using the Systems Timezone?

I have set it to use system time now. Not 100% sure if that is the cause or will effect anything? Thanks for the assistance.

If your system time is correct then it should work…make sure that your system time is correct…

Still not working. I made sure that the date and system time is correct, even restarted the PBX server and then after all that upgraded, Line test for time conditions still no change

Admin > System Admin > Timezone, do you see Africa/Johannesburg?

In SSH when you type date is it the same time as you see in the PBX gui?

Yes it is

Can you tell me how you route your calls? From Inbound routes until where you want the calls to get?
What message is it playing now?
