As Aerosmith once sang, you’re Livin’ on the Edge. That version of framework is only available in the edge repo where things are meant for beta testing before going to the stable repo. The edge repo was meant to be a place for advanced users or those willing to accept things could break to do “in the wild” testing. It has somehow become a go-to repo to fix bugs that shouldn’t exist.
@ncorbic@mwhite This is another QA failure and we really need to address these. This error should have never made it to a public testing repo. How are these glaringly obvious things getting by both your development and QA team?
The dialogue that is supposed to happen about this stuff, that you both said you would engage, has been lacking and always knocked off track. What’s a real solution to this? Are we ever going to get one?
@afonsolaw2020@MarPeverley You guys need to roll back to the .11 version in stable. That will solve this issue for now. Also, unless you want to be test subjects…remove the edge repo from your repo list.
I’m not really providing feedback, I’m asking you and @ncorbic for feedback on why bugs and errors like this keep getting pushed into the wild and getting passed your development and QA teams.
I’ve actually asked this in numerous threads and I have yet to get a real or direct answer. I get corpspeak and that does nothing for this except give the impression there really isn’t an answer and no one is doing anything about it.
Myself and this community have been promised numerous times by yourself and @ncorbic there would be changes, improvements and more open dialogue and as per usual…Sangoma drops the ball on what they say they will do.
It’s really frustrating to see the biggest open source PBX project being treated like a back alley garage. Honestly though, I think the back alley garage might have better QA.
