SIP trunk channel monitroing

Is there any way to monitor SIP trunk channels? For example getting alert when all channels are being used and there is no available channel or another trunk is taken?

Yes, you can interrogate the SIP settings and see how many channels are in use.

Not exactly. The limit is set in your configuration and when the number of channels is exceeded, the channel is “full”. It’s isn’t actually, there’s no such thing as “full” in SIP trunking except as applied by individual providers, and that can be a pretty fluid set of circumstances.

Hmm that gives me idea if the “full” or whatever is produced the notification is send … - make sense.

I think I saw a script on Elstix forum explaining but it may be outdated …
