Anyone know of a sure way of migration cloud based FreePBX systems to a new IP (this bit is fine for us), but without visiting sites, get the phones (Sangoma S and P) to shift IP address (perfer not to have to factory default). If anyone has done this in the past, how was it done. Only way I can see is to have a new system deployed ready on the IP, then go into the endpoint of the new set the IP in template and endpoint global settings, then in the base file of the old, edit the SIP server address and SIP provision address. Force a reboot on the phone and it should move over? There is some clean up areas like changing the Sangoma portal IP for provisioning if reset etc. Also we are looking to program them to point to a domain, anyone have issues with doing that in the past?
