Hey all,
Really need some help please. So I’ve been running freepbx 17 on a VM for about 5 weeks now. I followed the guide provided by Sangoma to do fresh Debian 12 install then ran the wget and then ran the bash script to install freepbx 17.
It’s been working rather well to date. I have a sip trunk with Gamma UK. And it’s all been good but today randomly all outbound calls started giving me a message saying “all circuits are busy now” but inbound via the same sip trunk was perfectly fine.
I don’t have any complex dial plans or anything.
I tried going to the trunk and just saving it without any changes so that the apply button appears. Then pressed apply to refresh it in the hope it will reconnect or drop whatever it thinks is busy. They didn’t help. So I rebooted the server through the power options > reboot
When it came back online it all started working instantly.
My question is, I really want to figure out why this happened and prevent his? I have 10 channels with the trunk provider and 100% do not use more than 4 at one time so there is no way it was actually busy.
Is there somewhere in the logs that I can look to find a clue as to what exactly happened?
I’d like to prevent this happening specially during office hours.
If this happens again, is there a way to solve just the issue without rebooting and causing 5 to 10 minutes of downtime?
Will a daily nightly reboot of the server help keep things smooth?
Thank you so much for everyone’s help on here. Much appreciated ![]()
