Peer is now Lagged on LAN

All my phones are on the same subnet (seperate VLAN from rest of network) as FreePBX 12.0.64 but some phones show the phone is now Lagged. Can someone provide insight into what might be the problem? It doesn’t happen on all the phones and happens at different times.

That is a very low level error. It’s simply a ping of the phone. It could be because your phones are going to sleep, or are in a low power mode, or, it could a symptom of severe network issues that are happening.

Is it actually causing any problems?

For the most part we are not having any problems but, from time to time, users says a call will drop. I blame the other end because I can’t find anything wrong on my end by looking in the asterisk full log. How do I detect if phone is going to sleep or low power mode? Today a user took a pic of his phone and it showed “no service” and I can’t find that problem. This is the first time “no service” has happened.

Depending on the phone, it could mean many things. But, being that you’re having network issues, I think that’s the problem.

5 second pings to a phone is really really bad.

Edit: What’s the common factor in those phones you posted? Are they all on the same switch? Same segment? There’s a wireless link in the way?
