We are migrating from Avaya cs1000e systems to freepbx.
The setup is as follows
Head office cs1000 with session manager
3 branches have cs1000 but now replaced with freepbx.
All the 3 branches on frepbx have sip trunks to the session manager. All on pjsip
So you can call any branch or main office.
The session manager does the routing
When a user on freepbx in any branch calls any branch or the main office, the calls go through howerver it shows the extension number and does not show the name.
Please advise if there is any settings required on the sip trunk so as to send the name on sip trunk calls.
Hi this could be due to invalid settings make sure to set name on extension and make sure under advanced settings send rpid/pai=yes and trust rpid=yes, Also leave from user blank under advance settings of your trunk if not required from Avaya. I hope this will help you
