Under FreePBX 13 I have been using the (non legacy) Microsoft active directory connection to create users and groups on the phone system.
This has been working well.
I’ve been testing the upgrade to freepbx 14 and I’ve noticed that although the users and groups are being created. The groups appear to be created empty, they show ‘None Selected’ on the Users row in the Group Details page.
Freepbx 13 = 10.13.66-21
Freepbx 14 = 12.7.3-1708-1.sng7
I’ve run the below command to :
fwconsole userman --syncall --force --verbose
From that command I can see that the script is complaining that its ‘Unable to find Users primary group’, group id 513.
As mentioned in other post, I believe this is the Domain Users group.
I changed the Base DN on the directories page so it would cover the domain users location, but that didn’t seem to make any difference.
I can also see from the script that the 4 PBX groups are being updated.
Does anyone have any idea why the groups are now empty?
Is it because it’s not picking up their primary group, so they can’t be in any others?
