IVR Destination "Play Recording"

Curiosity question: Under the IVR Entries, one of the options presented is “Play Recording”. When selected, the sub-menu is a list of System Recordings.

I can find ZERO documentation for this option. I am assuming it plays the message and then …. what? Similar to what Announcements would do, but without the next-destination (etc) options that the Announcements Module offers.

[BUG] By the way, the “Return” column in the IVR Entries section is blank. It’s sometimes there when starting to add another entry, but it disappears. I’m using Chrome.

I am going to guess the original objective is to play a recording, and then to re-enter the IVR?

Where would one find documentation more recent than V13? It looks like the Wiki froze at that time, and nobody has cared since.

Well, I made a quick test and after the system recording was over the call was terminated.

Regarding the “Return“ column, it is only active for each selection (“Digit”) when specific types of destinations are selected from the respective drop-down list, eg. Extensions or IVRs.

Thanks for giving that a quick test - I didn’t have handy access to a system to do it myself.

Ya think maybe they should document it?
