I tried to install FreePBX on a Raspberry (5) The only install for Raspberry is documented on Youtube Raspberry Pi Phone System from Unify communications, Too bad, This seems not to be working anymore, You must connect a keyboard and monitor to the Rasp as after reboot you only can go further on the Rasberry itself with root but too bad it ended with missing libedit, makeopts and some other missing stuff so now im asking: is there an instruction and package that is working nowadays? in 2025? i tried even on my Qnap but it is consuming too much power, about 20 times more than a rasp.
I believe I came across a post on this forum a few months back where someone had gotten an updated version of Raspbx running on the Pi4. I will try to search for it.
Edit: Here
I found an update for the script and that is working.
Which one? Please post link to working script.
I dit have an old script, the working script is the script mentioned on FreePBX for the Raspberry Pi frin Broadband Bulletin Forum - 21 Jan 25
So now i have a working FreePBX but too bad my Yealink phone is not provisioning.
If you have only one phone of a given type, don’t even think about provisioning; just log into the web interface and set server IP (and port if you changed it from 5060), username (extension number) and password (matches Secret for the extension).
If it doesn’t register, turn on pjsip logger and paste the result of an attempt.
Are you talking about a single unit of say Yealink T53? Or multiple units, 10 for example? For hobbyists, yeah it’s easier to manually configure a single unit. Plus it’s a lot of “dancing” to get access to say Yealink’s RPS or Poly’s ZTP.
Any suggestions on how to auto provision a “large” number of phones, for a lab use case?
