Is it possible to send the caller ID through?

Hello,

I am researching if this is possible with freepbx 16: I receive an external call to the main reception number. That main reception number forwards the outside caller to another internal extension number. That (second) internal number forwards the call to an outside number. Can the caller ID of the original caller be passed through the internal system back out to the new external number? I have the system working properly for the call forwarding, but not the original caller ID to be displayed.

Most trunking providers do not allow sending a number that is not yours (with them or verified). If you believe that yours does, contact their support and ask for the requirements (header details, signing a special agreement, etc.)

If the above won’t work, consider forwarding to a mobile SIP app instead of forwarding to a mobile number.

If that’s also infeasible, describe your requirements in more detail.
