My sip provider is sometimes sending inaccurate CNAM (Caller ID Names).
So, 2 questions:
#1 - Is there a way to have a manual override for specific numbers?
#2 - Is there a way to use another CNAM online service instead of my sip provider?

Check out Caller-ID Superfecta. It is a free module. You can pull caller-id from a wide variety of services to override what is provided on the trunk but most services charge a database dip fee to provide the caller-id. Also, if you have contacts built on your system, they can be pulled in by Superfecta to override the trunk caller-id.
Thank you, I will look into that module. Do you have any recommendations for a good service? It’s fine if they are paid, I’m already paying my current provider per-call for CNAM lookup anyway.
The module has many choices. I do not know what country you are in so you’ll have to install the module and see if any of the providers will work for you.
United States. I didn’t realize there were providers built into the module. I will install it and go from there.
