How to Allow Multiple Extensions in CallerID Field (Outbound Route)

Hi everyone,

I’m configuring an outbound route in FreePBX and I want to allow only specific internal extensions (e.g. 204, 230, 233, etc.) to be able to dial out using a certain pattern (like 8Z.).

I noticed that the CallerID field under Dial Patterns doesn’t accept multiple extensions separated by commas, like this:

CallerID: 204,230,233

After clicking “Apply”, the commas get stripped out, and it treats the entire string as one extension.

Is there any way to allow multiple extensions in one row, or do I have to create a separate row for each extension with the same dial pattern?

If there’s a workaround or bulk method to manage this more efficiently, I’d appreciate your advice.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @emirbey

You can use dial pattern matching like 23X, or alternatively, you need to create a separate row for each extension with the same dial pattern
