How to access fail2ban

Hi there, I have worked out that it is fail2ban that is stopping my devices from connecting outside of the local network. When I disable fail2ban, everything works well. My question is, how can I access the fail2ban file to whitelist specific IP addresses. Am I able to do this via the GUI or via command line? If so, how? Any help would be greatly accepted.

You can control fail2ban from within the Firewall module (Connectivity->Firewall). Know that you will only trigger a fail2ban ban with a failed authentication, likely a phone registration is misconfigured.

If you register the sysadmin module it has an “intrusion detection” section. That is where you can configure your fail2ban whitelist.

If you do disable fail2ban, you may certainly want to consider something such as APIBAN (open source client: GitHub - apiban/apiban-client-go: Go based apiban client)…

Of course if you keep Fail2Ban, we also have a client that integrates with the main jail.
