How can I prevent FreePBX from sending its own 180?

Hello,

How can I prevent FreePBX from sending its own 180? (the one surrounded in red)

Thanks a lot,
Regards,
Olivier

What processing is the call subject to? E.g. provide the full log with verbosity set to 5, to show the dialplan execution. In particular, are queues, or ring groups being used?

Is the call from a trunk or an extension? Is the destination a trunk or an extension.

Your current behaviour doesn’t sound like the default, but for one combination of answers to the above questions, No ringback tone on outbound calls - #3 by tm1000 tells you how to solve the reverse problem of wanting to have the PABX fake the ringback tone, and you can adopt it to restore the default behaviour.

There is no queue, no ring group.
The call is coming from a trunk and the destination is an extension.
On the trunk I configured an inbound route to route a DID to a specific extension.
I will collect the debug logs.

You could remove the ‘r’ from Asterisk Dial Options for the extension, i.e. leave it blank. But please explain why the 180 is a problem for you.

One caution. When you allow multiple contacts for a single extension, which you can with chan_pjsip, Asterisk will no longer pass through call progress indications.
