Help setting up Call Parking buttons on phones

We have a mix of Polycom VVX411’s and Cisco SPA504 IP phones.

I would like to create 2 parking bins on each phone.
Press the button once to park a call on that buttons. Then have that buttons show busy when a call is parked. Then press the button on another phone to retrieve that parked call.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using FreePBX’s Endpoint Manager to configure these phones? I don’t think it’s required, but it will make a difference on how you configure your BLF keys. If you’re manually configuring your devices, there will be some differences with how the keys are set up on your Polycom vs the Cisco. Here’s an old post where a Yealink was used:

There were a couple different methods described in the thread, but they’re talking about a similar set up based on what you’re trying to accomplish. If you are not already familiar with the process, I think the first thing to take care of would be to figure out how to configure speed dial keys on those phones. Once that is known, try setting one to a parking lot number.
