I have a grandstream 2140 with frimware 1.0.7.25 working fine with freepbx version 13.0.195.19
any time i go past that firmware version the phone buttons do not work and if i pickup the receiver there is no dial tone, the only buttons that seem to work is the menu button. i can upgrade the firmware and the phone works fine if i have no config applied to it.
For what its worth, I have many 2140’s. I am on firmware 1.0.9.x with no issues…FYI
