FWConsole Errors after data restore to a new server

I backed up the everything from Server1 so I could install a “warm” server. Restored to Server2.

It would be nice if a template could be created just for New Server provisioning.

Restoring with the “config” ticked off and the IVR recordings/sounds.

Upon restoring to the new server I get a red pop up just noting an error and hovering over the red sprocket I get a message about ajax error check the console. I assume it means the fwconsole.

In Fwconsole debug I see -

fwconsole ma list

No repos specified, using: [standard,commercial,extended,unsupported] from last GUI settings

Could you help me understand what I need to read about to understand how to fix this.

I did see another message about -
rm -Rf /var/www/html/admin/modules/extensionroutes

But that seemed to be more about a blank page issue.

Do you need or use cxpanel?

No. It means the Browser console.

I open the Chrome console [ctrl + shift + j] and it looks like when you open the web interface it goes and checks the Schmoozecom shopping cart.

true true 0 There are no items in your cart.

I know why the name won’t resolve - it’s on a closed network as I need to setup this as a rip and replace thus everything except my license keys are the same on both systems…including IP’s.

Can this be turned off?

As far as I know, and at the risk of being accused of trolling, the only thing FreePBX distro includes which is in any way ajax related is cxpanel, it is solely a feed to Isymphony which has well known memory leaks. If you need it then caveate emptor, if you don’t delete it.

I’ll use Putty as it will take me all week type that out correctly. : )

For those of you who don’t know what Putty (Putty.org) it’s a great way around files - delete, move, find, etc. In fact I had to use this to get my backup on a different server as the FreePBX didn’t want to play right*

Dicko isn’t trolling he’s just providing inaccurate information.

Even though you removed cxpanel it still is in no way related to cxpanel. At all.

You’ll find the errors will still be present because the Url is generated by sysadmin

That won’t work. The machine needs unfettered internet access outbound, or a bunch of the commercial modules won’t work properly (sysadmin, activation and endpoint manager at least).

If I understand what you’re trying to do, you’ll need to set it up as a warm standby. This is a feature of the Backup module, and is pretty trivial to set up. When you want to fail over, you simply change the IP addresses, and that’s it.

Dicko, I think you should take the night off. I don’t know what you think you’re saying, but that is either incomprehensible, or shows a fundamental lack of understanding of 1. what ajax is, and 2. what it does.
