The System Overview, FreePBX Statistics & Uptime dashboard widgets contents are displaying in french while the titles are displaying in the current selected language. The System Disk Usage widget always displays in English and that OK because that should be the default language in this case.
I set the default language to German to illustrate the bug in this screenshot…
What happens if you stand up a FreePBX 17 install on Debian, import your backup & restore module backup, make sure you’ve updated to the newest modules and then test? Does the bug still exist?
17 is still Beta (at best) so this isn’t the solution to anything yet. A bug in 16 is still a valid bug and should be managed as such.
Really…I thought we were at RC1? I’m using it in PROD…And I also agree with you about BUGS, I just didn’t know we were still in BETA…Its been working so well for me…

Go to Settings > Advanced Settings and in the “Default language” field replace “fr_FR” (or whatever it is) with en_US.
Then submit & Apply.
Does it work?

I was unaware of this setting (or more likely I was aware of it once and since forgot). This looks like a bug to me, @kgupta can you comment? The language selector should ignore the advanced setting default in all cases, shouldn’t it?
