FreePBX server time help

I have configured my freepbx 17 to use NTP server using chrony. And the time sync works and when i run command “timedatectl status” i gives me the correct Local time which is currently in BST time zone.

But I am a little confused because when I go to the Time Conditions section on freepbx, it shows Server Time like this on the top section: “Server Time: 16:31:50 UTC” but this is 1hr behind because of daylight savings. So I’m not sure when I create the time condition will it use the Local Time that i can see when I run “timedatectl status” or will it use the Server Time that the freepbx is showing on the top of the page?

I configured voicemail to email and the date and time that displays in the email body is accurate. But still a little confused. Should it be ok?

Kind of throws you off as you’d think the time should be consistant.

Thanks

FYI, I’m stuck on version 13 due to not wanting to lose a feature we paid a large amount for. Our server has has had this same condition the entire time - GUI time is an hour off when in DST. Logs are fine, system time is fine, but GUI & call recordings all display an hour off. :man_shrugging:

To my knowledge, it hasn’t had any bad effects other than my having to remember to adjust the times when providing call examples to our SIP trunk provider for help when we have something odd.

There are two levels of time zones for the system. There is the OS level time of the system, timedatectl or other commands will display that. Then there is the PHP (PBX) time zone which sets the time zone when PHP is in use such as the entire GUI or automated scripts run from the system. When any script or code calls on the time zone in the PBX configuration it will load this time zone.
