Freepbx on Raspberry Pi for 15 extensions and 5 SIP trunks

Automatic doesn’t ask you any questions. You’ve selected the wrong option.

I did choose automatic with vga, but I guess there must be an issue with the storage and it is stopping to try to fix it. I can see the options for some of the other items like language, network, source, time and all have an X in the box, where destination has a ! (exclamation)

Seems Windows 10 is loaded on there, got to a cli, and rebooted and it came up on Windows 10. Have to get rid of that first maybe

Thanks for you help Rob & Dicko

When n the bios, choose the sane boot choice, you should see a “not windows” device, presumably your well formatted USB device, perhaps previously boot with a live gparted iso and send windows/UEFI /hidden partitions back to the Redmond in the sky where it belongs

If booting without any USB, the LP boots with windows 10. I guess it booted without seeing the usb drive in place.

Automatic install always gets stuck on the storage part

Have tried all the options to try and get past the storage failure. Tried updating the bios to a ubuntu bios, tried turning off trusted sources. Trying to install some form of Linux to get it to boot with something other than windows, just to see if I can get past the storage issue

Dear, I’m using FreePBX 14 on raspberry Pi 2 B +
Besides FreePBX I have already installed other systems of my own and everything is working very well.
I have 2 trunks and 5 extensions.
of course the more recent version of Raspberry, the better.
And if you need to use a Raspberry type card but that is a lot more powerful, I recommend using the Tinker Board from ASUS

Gotta love that Opera house  I remember it being quite warm and sticky.

On the LattePanda ended up having to install a Ubuntu 16.04 iso from Lattepanda, then installed Freepbx following the Freepbx wiki for Ubuntu. Would have rather run the Distro, but couldnt seem to get past being able to partition the ssd drive.

Been able to get modules updated, and a couple of extensions and trunks working so far.

Just wanted to update in case anyone else was looking at the Lattepanda as an alternative - thanks for the help

this project is not optimistic, atomic pi is not cheap after adding case, power supply and the power adapter board. Some Zotac mini pc with celeron CPU, case, power supply is less than 150 bucks.

perhaps pi fans could consider emmc with microSD adapter as below:

The Lattepanda seems to work ok, it just took a bit of time to get everything installed. Had to use Ubuntu and do a lot of the stuff that is done for you on the Distro. Would have liked to use the Distro to have access to system admin pro and extension routing modules, but I already had a couple of them on hand, and didnt want to put them on the shelf
