FreePBX IVR + Retell AI: anyone got AI → operator transfer working?

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to integrate Retell AI with FreePBX (PJSIP).

Goal flow: Incoming call → FreePBX IVR → route to Retell AI → then transfer back to a live operator on FreePBX (extension or queue).

Has anyone successfully done this? If yes, could you share briefly:

  • which Retell connection method you used (SIP trunk / SIP URI / other)

  • how you handled the transfer back to the operator
