I’m not really able to determine the difference in the firewall between using Trusted ( Exclude from Firewall ) and Local (Local Trusted Traffic).
In this scenario both may work, but I want to insure the difference if any.
This server is on the cloud, so there is no true local traffic.

If I understand correctly, they are strictly human differentiators.
I use Local for network traffic that is already protected by a Firewall - inside a local firewall.
I use Trusted for network traffic from places that I trust, like my ITSP.
Local is almost always “networks”, Trusted is almost always “hosts”.
In practical terms, I don’t think there are any differences.
