Today I would like your views and experiences about VPN between Draytek routers and FreePBX
Has anyone ever tried something?
I use FreePBX with IPSec and OpenVPN everyday without any issues, either site-to-site or server-client. The key to using the OpenVPN client that some phones have embedded is to match the cyphers exactly to what they are supposed to be.
in the end it was simpler than expected i implemented pptp between the freepbx cloud and the router … i think that all routers that do vpn support pptp

Hi Arielgrin, and Im using FreePBX whit PfSense ( IPSec) vpn tunnel between our offices London-Austin-Dubai and we dont had any issue. I advice to IPSec not PPTP because pptp its not secure…

I would advise not to use PPTP as a VPN protocol, it has been considered insecure for quite a log time.
