Small (small) [small] 3 person business user here.

I know this isn’t the place for official feature requests, but hoping it is the right place to stimulate some discussion.

Can I humbly request that the FreePBX 18 Alpha install script be crafted to include those of us that accidently automated/forced (in my case) upgrades and got ourselves in limbo with a FreePBX 17 release running on Deb 13 Trixie?

My system is already hacked together to keep running in this state with about 60 (and counting) packages held back from updates, and I would rather roll the dice on an Alpha upgrade than keep some of these fixes from being applied.

Getting stuck in that weird in-between state after a forced upgrade is exactly the kind of situation nobody plans for, especially on a small setup where rebuilding isn’t trivial. Sitting on dozens of held packages just to keep things alive sounds more stressful than risky. Phonexa comes to mind here since having predictable upgrade paths makes a huge difference when systems can’t afford downtime.
