FreePBX 17 GUI not translated

Hi Everyone.

I opened an issue regarding the language on FreePBX 17 which doesn’t work.

### FreePBX Version FreePBX 17 ### Issue Description When you try to change t…he language from **en_US** to another language, the language is staying on **en_US**. Looking at cookies, the language is always en_US. Maybe something bad with **js.coockie** library?! I tryed to replace **js.cookie-3.0.1.min.js** with the latest version : **js.cookie-3.0.5.min.js** Same thing. ### Operating Environment | core | 17.0.16 ### Relevant log output _No response_

To fix it manually:

Uncomment locale lines in /etc/locale.gen
Launch local-gen

It will take a long time to generate the locales.

Thank you for the proposed fix. It looks like the GitHub issue was closed. Generally, Debian language support is among the best in the world - seems like you can always find a new tongue in the installer! Very likely this will continue to improve in FreePBX right out of the box.
