Firewall monitoring daemon in infinite loop

Getting the following from cli repeatedly:

Broadcast message from [email protected] (Fri Apr 27 12:47:20 2018):
Loop detected in monitoring script. Dying!

matching entries in /var/log/messages:

Apr 27 12:45:10 freepbx journal: voipfirewalld (Monitor thread): Wall: ‘Loop detected in monitoring script. Dying!’ returned 0

Asterisk: 13.19.1
FreePBX: 14.0.2.18
System Firewall: 13.0.53.3

Happy to provide any other info to help resolve this.

Thanks.

Upgrade the firewall to 13.0.53.4

Upgraded to 13.0.53.4

Still looping/restarting every few minutes with a new broadcast msg:

Apr 28 10:27:18 freepbx journal: voipfirewalld (Monitor thread): Wall: ‘Loop detected in monitoring script. Issue with Asterisk? Restarting!’ returned 0

Thanks for taking a look.

Has there been a resolution for this yet. We are still seeing this happen on our servers.

This is the error after upgrading the firewall to .4

Loop detected in monitoring script. Issue with Asterisk? Restarting!
Apr 30 10:28:57 sip wall[13595]: wall: user root broadcasted 1 lines (70 chars)
Apr 30 10:28:57 sip journal: voipfirewalld (Monitor thread): Wall: ‘Loop detected in monitoring script. Issue with Asterisk? Restarting!’ returned 0

Apr 30 10:29:49 sip wall[14067]: wall: user root broadcasted 1 lines (70 chars)

I am also having this problem since upgrading the firewall service.

Updated to .3 and was receiving:
Loop detected in monitoring script. Dying!

Updated to .4 and am now receiving:
Loop detected in monitoring script. Issue with Asterisk? Restarting!

A ticket has been created. Vote/watch here.

This should be fixed, and is released to EDGE. If you want to just grab this, and not upgrade anything else, you can run

fwconsole ma downloadinstall http://mirror1.freepbx.org/modules/packages/firewall/firewall-13.0.54.3.tgz

We had the same issue (running 13.0.53.4). The above command to upgrade to 13.0.54.3 seems to have fixed the problem.

Thank you.
