Dear community, I just finished installing FreePBX on my Proxmox server. I configured the SIP trunk with the credentials my carrier provided me, then I temporarily configured inbound with IVR and a pre-recorded voice message. When I try to call the switchboard, my carrier’s automated voice answers, saying “Number temporarily unavailable.” Meanwhile, FreePBX gives me this error: [2025-09-07 23:52:45] WARNING[29755] res_pjsip_outbound_registration.c: 403 Forbidden fatal response received from ‘sip:telecomitalia.it:5060’ on registration attempt to ‘sip:[email protected]:5060’, retrying in ‘30’ seconds.
The credentials should be correct. I also tried opening port 5060 on my modem, but it gave me an error saying that port 5060 was already open (even though I hadn’t done so). I disabled modem voice so it wouldn’t conflict with FreePBX.
If it helps, my ISP is TIM (Telecom Italia), and I have a TIM HUB modified with ansuel gui.
Try setting the trunk Username to +390981551007 (leave Auth username blank).
If no luck, at the Asterisk command prompt, type
pjsip set logger on
wait for a failed registration and post the REGISTER request and associated responses. Also, post a screenshot of your trunk settings.
HI, check deep with the logs that which number your provider is sending to receive the call and make the exact format in incoming routes you can check by pjsip set logger on and check which number is appearing here tim often requires username = full phone number
