Endpoint Manager (licensed) stuck on 17.0.1.88

I am trying to get all my PBXes updated to the latest version of Endpoint Manager. I have bought licenses for all the PBXes that had expired EM licenses. I have one remaining that despite having a license won’t update. What can I do to update? Adding @penguinpbx and @mwhite

fwconsole ma upgradeall
No repos specified, using: [standard, commercial, extended] from last GUI settings

Up to date.

fwconsole ma install endpoint --tag=17.0.9.1

updating Logout phones config…(Background)Generating CSS…Done
Module endpoint version 17.0.1.88 successfully installed
Updating Hooks…Done
Chowning directories…Done

From Commercial Licenses in Sysadmin:

Modules Module expiry Module maintenance expiry Current Version Latest Version Status Changelogs
EndPoint Manager 2045-02-25 2026-09-03 (289 days left) 17.0.1.88 17.0.9.1

Use fwconsole ma downloadinstall instead

install simply (re)-installs the copy of the module you already have.

That also quite happily installed 17.0.1.88.

fwconsole ma downloadinstall endpoint

I also tried all these things to no avail:

rm -f /var/www/html/admin/modules/_cache/*
rm -f /var/www/html/admin/libraries/BMO/Commercial/*.json
fwconsole reload
fwconsole ma refreshsignatures
fwconsole ma listonline | grep endpoint
fwconsole ma download endpoint
fwconsole ma listonline| grep endpoint
fwconsole ma install endpoint --version=17.0.10

Please DM me the ticket number (you can open one at help.sangoma.com).

I tried to log in to help.sangoma.com and got

Sangoma Support (default)Sangoma Support (default)

Single Sign-On Error

We can’t log you in because of an issue with single sign-on. Contact your Salesforce admin for help.

@penguinpbx and @mwhite is there an issue with the help.sangoma.com site? I tried the regular login and also the “Sangoma SSO” option.

@ccampbell no sir - happy to look in to it also happy to get you in to support if we can’t get the ticket open on your end.

This is a good link to check if you think something is down – https://trust.sangoma.com/

What credentials should I be using? My forum credentials or our group Sangoma Portal credentials? My forum creds just reject the login, and the Sangoma portal credentials give me the SSO error.

your email will work.

I seem to be stuck on EPM 17.0.1.94.

Module admin shows critical upgrade to 17.0.10 required to further address that SQL injection hack issue.

Yet, Module Admin gives only a ‘Download and install 17.0.1.94”.

fwconsole ma downloadinstall endpoint - does not change anything.

Still stuck at 17.0.1.94 with the critical error that it needs to be upgraded.

Any ideas?

Did you check to be sure that your Updates and support are current.

You may need to do the annual renewal.

Check at: Admin > System Admin > Activation

Did the license renewal allow you to update the commercial module ?

I had tried the license removal before I created this post. Didn’t work, stayed at 17.0.1.88 while the license was removed. Same thing when I used a different deployment ID that also had a valid EM license.

It says there’s a valid EM license in System Admin/Commercial Licenses

Yes - eventually.

Once the renewal propagated in the their system, we were updated to the latest version.

It did take about 24 hours for the new version to show up.
