Hello!
I use Endpoint Manager 14.0.2.48 and have found it can’t upgrade Cisco 7960 phone.
My steps:
- I created Device Brand - Cisco
- Move 0.00 to Firmware Slot 1
- Folder /tftpboot/cisco/1 was created with version file:
Version=0.00
Custom Firmware
Upload your firmware to /tftpboot/brand/slotnumber - I added Cisco firmware files to folder /tftpboot/cisco/1

-rw-r–r-- 1 asterisk asterisk 111 Feb 19 2013 version - Created template inside Cisco with selected Firmware Version -> Slot1 and Phone type 7960
- Pressed Save and Rebuild
- Configured Extensions and mapped phone to it via MAC address
- Pressed Save and Rebuild
- Resetted phone, but it could not reach image.
When I added string image_version: “P0S3-8-12-00” to SIPDefault.cnf and copied firmware files to /tftboot, phone was provisioned well.
