Endpoint Manager Cisco 7960 upgrading issue

Hello!

I use Endpoint Manager 14.0.2.48 and have found it can’t upgrade Cisco 7960 phone.
My steps:

  1. I created Device Brand - Cisco
  2. Move 0.00 to Firmware Slot 1
  3. Folder /tftpboot/cisco/1 was created with version file:
    Version=0.00
    Custom Firmware
    Upload your firmware to /tftpboot/brand/slotnumber
  4. I added Cisco firmware files to folder /tftpboot/cisco/1

    -rw-r–r-- 1 asterisk asterisk 111 Feb 19 2013 version
  5. Created template inside Cisco with selected Firmware Version -> Slot1 and Phone type 7960
  6. Pressed Save and Rebuild
  7. Configured Extensions and mapped phone to it via MAC address
  8. Pressed Save and Rebuild
  9. Resetted phone, but it could not reach image.

When I added string image_version: “P0S3-8-12-00” to SIPDefault.cnf and copied firmware files to /tftboot, phone was provisioned well.
So issue is with Endpoint Manager.

Also I found similar case:

I would be interested to find out as well. Still using some Cisco Phones and this has always been puzzling to me.
