I’m having trouble getting the FreePBX extensions to receive multicast from the Paging Server. I can multicast from a Sangoma 705 just fine. When I call the extension for the Paging Server it prompts for the group and I dial the group number and get the tone but the extension does not pick up. To ensure it isn’t an address:port issue, I assigned the same address:port to the Multicast on the Sangoma phone and it still works fine. Any thoughts on what I might be missing?
I forgot I had to reset the firewall and the server was in a different subnet not defined in the firewall. All good now!
