March 12There doesn’t appear to be a SIP load for it. If there is, the password will have to be kept short (the Ciscos don’t like long passwords). You can install Chan_SCCP_B and add the native Skinny protocol to your configuration. There’s a thread here: http://community.freepbx.org/t/how-to-add-chan-sccp-b-to-the-latest-freepbx-distro/20326 that should help you.I wrote the instructions on the Chan_SCCP_B wiki page for adding it to the system. I use it all the time - I’ve used the Cisco units in both modes and the SIP version of these phones really aren’t usable in my opinion. To respond, reply to this email or visit http://community.freepbx.org/t/connecting-cisco-cp7936-to-freepbx-endpoint-manager/27892/2 in your browser.
March 12We have a Cisco CP7936 and cannot get it configured. It currently is having trouble connecting to our TFTP server, which is another issue. If anyone has had experience successfully getting the Cisco CP7936 to work as an extension on FreePBX I would like to know how you succeeded. Thanks
