Connect to phones web interface over VPN

So I’ve got phones with an established OpenVPN connection through the built in sysadmin openvpn server. I enabled the route to 10.8.0.0.

On my PC I have the openvpn connected so I’m also on the 10.8.0.0 network, however I still can’t ping or access the web interfaces of the remote phones. How would I get this setup so I can view them as it would make remote support a lot easier

No, at least I don’t think so. You can get where you need to go by using an ssh tunnel and a proxy, we do this all day long in support. Using a terminal program (PuTTY if you’re on windows), configure the session with a dynamic tunnel, then config your browser to proxy thru the SOCKS ssh tunnel. I dedicate Firefox for this purpose because it has the native ability to config a proxy, but there are browser plugins to easily toggle on/off.
