Commercial CRM module and SuiteCRM integration

Has anyone successfully integrated SuiteCRM with freepbx17?

Main goal here is to keep track of call logs and call recordings in SuiteCRM instead of trying to integrate it with their existing DentrixCRM which is proprietary and comes with complicated HIPPA requirements. Ones a week we will export basic data such as name, number and patient ID from Dentrix to SuiteCRM and merge with existing call logs.

Next step is to have superfesta schemes to run SuiteCRM lookups for inbound/outbound and popup name and patient ID on agent screens, so they can use it in their main DentrixCRM. Basically SuiteCRM will perform as a helper popup with useful data and stay HIPPA compliant.

I activated 1 month trial and planning on installing SuiteCRM on dedicated pc on the same lan with Freepbx. Is it a good idea or it’s better to run it on the same server with freepbx?

We are using a very similar setup to what you are trying to accomplish. It works great. We are on SuiteCRM 7.15.1. We do have a road map to move to SuiteCRM 8.9.3. My advice would be to install SuiteCRM 8.9.3 1st. While I haven’t tested it if you get it to work you will be on the latest and greatest. As far as servers, I would set up your PBX and CRM on 2 separate servers or 2 seprate machines. Just check to make sure Sangomas integration for SuiteCRM is compatible with 8.9.3.
