Can Stock FreePBX Support SMS with Zoiper5 or LinPhone VOIP clients?

We’re currently evaluating Zoiper and LinPhone VOIP clients that connect to our private, VPS-hosted PBX. (FreePBX 16).

If both LinPhone and Zoiper support SMS, is activating SMS a matter of locating and configuring pre-existing settings in FreePBX 16 or must an additional FreePBX module(s) be installed?

With Sangoma SIP Trunking you can make it work with Sangoma products, not sure about the SIP clients you mentioned, but I’m pretty sure they don’t work with SMS out of the box. You’ll have to write a custom dialplan to support it.
