Calls to Follow Me are not ending in VM

Hello,

I have an in-office ext 499 and a remote ext 498. Ext 499 has voicemail, 498 has no voicemail.
Both have their follow me set to ring each others extension so no matter what ext is dialed, it will ring both. 499 has their follow me destination set to “Normal Extension Behavior” and the follow me destination for 498 is set to Voicemail > 499 unavail.

If someone calls in, and is blindly transferred, or if I hit the IVR then dial 499, everything works. It rings both extensions, for the set time, (20 seconds) then it goes 499’s voicemail.

If someone calls in, and is blindly transferred, or if I hit the IVR then dial 498, it just rings forever. It never follows the “No Answer Destination”

I just read the help icon under the destination tab. It says “If the phone is in use and the call is simply ignored, then the busy destination will be used.”

Where is this “Busy Destination”? Is this my problem?

Unable to reproduce the above issue, Can you share below details.

1. when you dial 498, is this rings for both 498 and 499..? Or only ring to 498 ?
2. can you share 498 FMFM setting page screen shot
3. share the asterisk cli call logs for problematic call to assist further
4. share the module version installed in the system for core and findmefollow
5. The Busy Destination can be find in Advanced tab of extension settings
   (Applications → Extensions —> select 498 extension and click on Edit, then got Advanced tab)
