Calls getting dropped after changing networks

My host system (I’m still using a Virtual Machine) was experiencing random network disconnects when I was connected to my home’s now-primary WiFi network, so when I changed to the other router, now I don’t get disconnects, but my IP Communicator (From Cisco, I know… very bad and all that… Bite me), seems to be dropping calls shortly after they’re connected, which kinda lines up with the statistics of Asterisk showing the user as “offline” every once in a while, but that bit doesn’t actively update like it should, but it goes offline for a few seconds, then comes back on. Is this normal? Or should I be worried? It’s the best networking solution I have right now until I can either pay to get a new Coax cable ran by the ISP, or until I can get a different networking solution running, which… I dunno how I’d get it going, especially when desktop-style WiFi extenders are no longer being made

Would love some insight though, but PLEASE don’t be so hard on Cisco, I’ve grown up with Cisco equipment for a fair while when I were a lad…
