Caller ID Display issue

Useful S/S testing info here:

Under ‘Third Party Test Numbers’, you’ll find a list of numbers to try, including one hosted by T-Mobile.

Possibly, Alliance is not signing your calls at all, either due to a technical issue, or they are just giving you BS.

Try the test numbers from your mobile to learn how they report properly signed calls.

You didn’t answer anything about the type of call traffic you do.

we do zoom meetings, CRM calls, Marketing calls.

So auto dialling? Automated calling? You’re asking why your calls are getting marked as SPAM by pretty much all the mobile carriers and you need a resolution ASAP. Yet you are being vague about the type of traffic you are doing when we all know that can be a key factor in this.

thanks, But what is the Solution, , Please suugest…

Well clearly your provider isn’t assigning Attestation properly which is a problem. Secondly, as I said before T-Mobile, ATT, Verizon have been doing SPAM/robocall protection before there were Attestation scores for CallerID’s. This is why I keep asking what kind of actual traffic you are doing. Your calling patterns can get you tagged with the mobile carriers fraud/spam checks.

I keep asking about your calling patterns and how you’re calling and all you give is vague responses. Zoom meetings, unless you’re not using Zoom’s network doesn’t really count here. The CRM/Marketing calls could mean you’re autodialing or predictive dialling which can raise flags.

Are you using the same CallerID for every call?

You didn’t report the results from calling the ‘third party’ SS test numbers.
If you get no attestation or less than A, Alliance has a problem (either technical, or they’re not your ally).
If your attestation is A, then you need to find out which caller reputation service is marking your calls spam and try to get them to fix that.

Alternate approach: get a trunk from another vendor and see whether the results are any better.

I called those numbers. check the status too

amardeeprana,

My employer subscribes to an anti SPAM email filtering service. Among other things it has a mechanism for users that get email spam to click a button that reports the email sender as a spammer to the email filtering service.

If enough of my users report a sender as a spammer - even if by every possible measure out there they are NOT a spammer - they can pass DMARC checks and whatever else checks - then our anti SPAM filtering service will start reporting those emails as spam.

It could be an email from God himself, or Mother Teresa, or the President of the United States - it doesen’t matter WHO it is - if enough users complain - it’s gonna be blocked.

That’s what’s going on here. The mobile carriers aren’t required to deliver your calls to their subscribers no matter what signature verification you have and whether it’s good or not. You are not paying the phone bill for those subscriber’s phones so you don’t get that right.

You asked “what is the solution” but david55 already gave you the answer:

“start with a new number and make calls in a way that no longer causes them to be reported.”

If that’s not a satisfactory answer you are gonna have to contact each cell phone carrier who is blocking you and argue it out with them.

If you do call forwarding and keep the original callerID then you would get a B and that is perfectly acceptable.

I reached out to my Telephone provider in Ohio and they shared the below. I signed up for a lot of things. It still says spam when I call my cell phone but other people don’t see that on the same or different carriers. They did reset my score as well when they found it slightly negative.
I have 3 more links but I cannot post them to my message. I’m limited to 2 links per post and need to respond to a reply.

I am going to ask for a review of your numbers. If negative, we can ask our provider for a reset on these numbers which should help, however, this does nothing for anyone who is receiving calls on their mobile with a provider that utilizes a crowd-sourced spam filter. To resolve cellular carrier issues please take the below actions.

This link has some helpful information on being flagged as Spam: How to avoid getting your number labeled as Spam - Admin Guide - Freevoice (freevoiceusa.com)

In case your number(s) has been flagged by a previous provider, we suggest submitting the number(s) to https://www.freecallerregistry.com/fcr/.

I will update you when I receive your scoring.

Thank you for reaching out and have a great day!
