How can i take an image backup of my FreePBX system, so i can restore it directly from an external drive in case of disk failure ?
Can i use tools like clonezilla ?
Clonezilla should work. You will lilely have to reactivate any commercial modules
mondoarchive shohld also work, it’s benefit is there us no downtime and you could ‘script it’ to run as your 'postbackup" script in the backup/restore module. Something like
/usr/sbin/mondoarchive -OV -d /dev/sdb -s 64000m
where /dev/sdb is a 64M usb device
